内维尔：执教瓦伦西亚让我清楚当教练有多折磨人，你无法兼顾所有

“坚守自己的领域，专注于自己擅长的事。我曾以为自己能兼顾所有业务、从事媒体工作，同时还能当主教练，这种想法太荒谬了，绝对荒谬。”

“我最近看了波斯特科格鲁的采访，他说‘这些球员很累，在过去四个月里，他们一直在周四、周日、周四、周日这样密集地比赛’。这话真的说到我心坎里了。我在瓦伦西亚执教时，圣诞节之后的三个月里，我没有一个周中能休息，情况糟透了，我失去了信心，甚至不想去参加新闻发布会。”

2015-2016赛季，加里-内维尔曾在瓦伦西亚短暂执教数月，他于12月接手当时处于联赛中游的瓦伦西亚，而赛季结束前他便离任，但蝙蝠军团已濒临降级。自那次执教厄运后，内维尔重返解说行业，没有再拿起教鞭。
